The Kyabram Freemasons had a sausage sizzle at the recent Tastes and Tunes Festival in Kyabram on Saturday, February 1st. We had the support of our sponsors, including Kyabram and District Garden Supplies, Ian Collie Pharmacy, Mingers Mitre 10, Bakers Delight, and Oz SIgns and Designs, as well as 15 Lodge members and partners. We battled the heat behind a couple of BBQs to make sure some of the thousands of patrons could enjoy the simplest of foods: a delicious sausage and onion sandwich.
This event brings people from all walks of life in Kabram and beyond together for a relaxing evening of music, food, friendship, and community spirit. In the three years the event has been running, there haven’t been any incidents that required police or security intervention. It’s simply a well-run community event that brings us all together.
We’re thrilled to say that we raised $750 over a four-hour period, which will go back into various community projects.
A big thank you to the Lodge members and partners who came down for some fellowship and helped manage the stall. And a huge thank you to the Tastes and Tunes Committee for bringing Kyabram another wonderful festival.
