The 2024 Kyabram Freemasons Observation Trial was held on Sunday the 14 April.
A small but dedicated group of members and wives attended and had a fun day.
This years trial was focused on Kyabram, 5 teams headed off at 11:10am in search of the answers to the clues.
The questions comprised a mixture of geographical, mathematical, ornithological and masonical clues. This year we stepped it up a bit with some cryptic clues. Who knows what next year will bring!
The winning team was Rushing About and consisted of Peter and Lyn Reade and Stuart Austin. Their names will be added to the shield.
2nd place was tied, and so a count back on their finishing time was used to determine 2nd & 3rd place.
2nd was “Slow & Steady consisting of Ross & Heather Coombs and 3rd place was Blakeys Bush Bashers consisting David & Sue Blake.
The trial was capped off by a BBQ lunch and good fellowship. The trial is intended to bring members & friends together for a lighthearted and entertaining 2-3hours. It gives us an opportunity to get to know one another a little better while having some friendly competition.
